The common names of the Abies Nigra are picea mariana, and
black spruce. It is found in North America and it was proved &
introduced by Leaman. The mother tincture is prepared from the gum
which oozes from the tree upon making an incision.
Abies nigra is a stomach remedy, useful in gastric
dearrangement and gastric disturbances caused by excess of tea and
tobacco. The patient always complains of pain in epigastric region
which always follows the meal.
