The common names of Nux Moschata are Nux Myristica and
Myristica Fragrans. This medicine was proved in introduced into
Homoeopathic practice by Helbig in 1833. It is founding South India,
West Indies and South America. The mother tincture is prepared from
the seeds and dilution from it.
Nux Moschata is a useful remedy in nervous hysterical
patients with marked tendency to faint with cold extermeties,
irresistible drowsiness and general inclination to become unconscious
during acute attacks. It is also beneficial in flatulent dyspepsia and
vaginal flatulence.
