The common names of Sabal Serrulata are Sareno Serrulata
and Sawpalmetto. It is found along the Atlantic Coast in Garolina and
Florida. The mother tincture is prepared from the fresh ripe fruit and
dilution from it.
The mother tincture is useful in chronic prostatitis. It is of
service in restoring the size and recreative powers of the mammary
glands in cases where uterine and ovarian atrophine accompany. It is
also useful in the impotency of young men who have indulged in
excessive masturbation practices.
