The common names of Taraxacum are Dandelion, Blowball,
Lion’s Tooth, White Endive and Wild Endive. Taraxacum is a
perennial plant found almost every where in Europe and Himalayas.
This remedy was introduced and proved by Dr. Samuel Hahnemann.
The mother tincture is prepared from the whole plant and dilutions
from it.
This remedy is indicated in gastric headaches, bilious attacks,
mapped tongue and jaundiced skin. It is also of service in flatulence
and cancer of the bladder.
