FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
It is unfortunately a false impression that homeopathic medicines act slowly. One of the reasons for such a miss-conception could be due to the fact that in spite of its tremendous potential to cure common acute ailments, Homeopathy is being widely used for the treatment of chronic, uncommon ailments.
It is a fact that homeopathic medicines have no side effects. The term “side effects ' of medicine comes from modern pharmacology. These drugs are aimed at one area of the body such as the cardiovascular system, the gut, the kidneys, etc. Though they have a primary area of action, they also affect other areas of the body. If these effects are undesirable, they are known as adverse side effects. Homeopathic medicines are not employed against one particular area or organ of the body. The homeopathic remedy is chosen because it matches as closely as possible with the totality of symptoms of the patient.
Like any other system of medicine, Homeopathy has its own limitations. Through Homeopathy, any ailment acute or chronic, local or general can be treated except for diseases where surgery is unavoidable.
It is a myth regarding restrictions in diets like onion, garlic, perfume, and tobacco. These medicines have been used on patients who are habituated to coffee and betel. IT ALWAYS ACTS. But with certain medicines when given, such restrictions are a must. Otherwise, the action may be nullified. Asking not to use cigarettes on the other hand is a safe and healthy restriction.
In April 1995, a meeting was held in the boardroom of BM Head Office, Lahore, Pakistan. Some important homeopathic personalities were also called in this meeting. The single point agenda of this meeting was to develop the encyclopedia of Pakistan Homoeopathic pharmacopeias patronized by the worthy founder Chairman Dr. Muhammad Sanaullah. The founder chairman also allocated a special fund for this task. The worthy founder chairman constituted a technical committee under the chairmanship of Dr. Amanullah Bismil along with the following members, to start developing the encyclopedia of Pakistan Homeopathic Pharmacopeia.

Homeopathy is recognized by an Act of Parliament in 1965 and accepted as a National system of medicine.
No.
It definitely is. Homeopathy is a science based on sound logic and vast experimental data. Homeopathy is the only medicinal science where data has been collected by proving on human beings and not on animals because human beings can communicate their actual feelings during the testing while animals cannot.
Self-prescribing without your doctor’s consent is never safe. It can interfere with the course of treatment and can also spoil the case. So always consult your physician before taking any medicine.
The remedies we use come from many sources. Most are derived from plants, but minerals, metals, animal products, and even some poisons, which have been used medicinally for generations, are also used. It seems alarming that homeopathy uses poisons, but you can rest assured that all substances whether of plant, mineral, metal, animal, or poisonous origin are put through a special process whereby they are serially diluted and vigorously shaken. This special process is called "potentization", wherein the crude medicinal substances are serially diluted and "energized"
