Specific Indication:
Scientists have identified several factors that play role in the development of
stomach cancer. Heavy salted, smoked and pickled foods are the known cause of
the stomach cancer. This disease is more common in the countries, where these
foods form a large part of the diet. The specific symptoms are abdominal
discomfort aggravated by eating, black stools, vomiting after meal, vomiting of
blood, weakness, fatigue and weight loss. But it is never mean that if you have
these signs and symptoms you have stomach cancer. It is very much necessary to
diagnose.
General Indication:
Stomach is a muscular sack located on the upper left side of the abdomen just below the ribs. Stomach folds in on
itself when it is empty and expands when we eat or drink. The exact cause of the stomach cancer are still
unknown. It is thought to be related to changes in our diet, particularly the use of refrigeration which has meant
that people eat more fresh food and less smoked and pickled food. Stomach cancer is more common in men
particularly in late middle age. Stomach cancer is more readily treated when caught early. Unfortunately by the
time it is diagnosed, the disease is often at an advanced stage and may have spread beyond the stomach to
nearby lymph nodes or to the colon.
