The common names are Water Bugle, Sweet Bugle and Gipsy
Weed. Although also found in Europe and Asia, it is basically an
American plant. It was proved by N.S.Davis. The mother tincture is
prepared from whole fresh palnt and dilution from it.
It is useful remedy in vascular excitement and minor
haemorrhages from various orifices. It is also useful in organic diseases
of the heart cardiac hypertrophy and albuminuria. Benefits toxic goitre
when used in the pre-operative stage.
