The common names of Salvia Officinalis are Sage, Garden
Sage and Salbeiblater. The mother tincture is prepared from the fresh
leaves and dilution from it. It is found in Asia and southern Europe.
Salvia is successfully employed in escessive sweating when
circulation is enfeebled. It is also of service in the patients having
pulmonary tuberculosis accompanied by suffocating coughs and
sweating at night.
