The common name of Spongia Tosta are Spongia Officinalis,
Sponge and Roasted Sponge. It is found near Syria and Greece. It was introduced and proved by Samuel Hahemann. The mother is prepared
from the whole animal and dilution from it.
Spongia is a remedy particularly simted to the symptoms of
the respiratory organs such as cough and croup. It should also be
remembered in orchitis epididmitis and in cases of Angina Pectoris,
difficult breathing with anxiety.
