Te common names of Hyoscyamus are Henbane, Hog’s Bean,
Jupiters Bean. Hyoscyamus is biennial plant found in the Europe, Asia
and Northern parts of United States. The mother tincture is prepared
from the fresh plant of second year growth and dilution from it. This
plant contains two alkaloids namely, Hyoscyamin and Hyscine. This
medicine was introduced by Dr. Samuel Hahnemann in 1805.
